Can Ikea solid oak worktops be stained?
Hi
We're planning our new kitchen at the moment and would like to use either the oak Numerar or the oak Personlig however would like it a littel darker. Is it possible to stain the worktops?

This is a popular question. There are some people trying different things right now. The issue is usually finding a stain and finish that will be food safe. Here are a couple threads that may help:

I'm not familiar with the oak Personlig, is that an IKEA product?

Pictures of Livos stains (dark) on Beech Numerar
If someone can help me figure out how to post them, I have pictures of beech numerar stained/finished with:

a black pigment like milk paint
Livos dark walnut
Livos Walnut
Tung Oil
Waterlox

All I can say is I LOVE that Livos stuff WOW!!
