So I've been sort of designing an office/storage area in the living room as well and wanted a wall of glass shelves to break up a tall expanse of cabs and I this it what I've come up with.
To get a 24" deep 30" wide glass cab, I've stackedtwo 15" tall and 30" wide over the fridge cabs and then used the glass/aluminum upper cabinet doors that fit over a 30x30 frame. I think the actual measurements make the stacked box 1/8" shorter than the doors which I was going to fill in with some sort of wood...
Whatdo you all think about this? has anyone done this before? |
