I have spent hours and hours with the ikea planner only to be confirmed that I cant have everything I want in my little shoe box kitchen - I wish the staff at Ikea were more helpful with the layout.

I am now starting to think I might be better to go to a big box store and get a kitchen there instead - I am not creative at all and this is starting to eat at me.

I was so excited to see everyones plans - but when I am spending $5K I want it to be perfect with no regrets.

Debbie -- Please consider posting your wish list, room measurements and important dimensions such as window and door size and placement, and any other critical factors and let us help you!

I understand wanting it to be perfect. I understand having a small space. I even understand frustration with the IKEA planner. We can help. I think you'll find that if you take your plans to HD/Lowes, you're going to come away with serious sticker shock. You won't get half your kitchen for 5K if that's what it's pricing out at IKEA. And the quality won't be the same. Give us a chance...if you need help with posting your planner stuff, just ask!
