Is that color Serengeti Plain? I just painted my son's room that shade and it's a wonderful soothing green, I love it!

Eva - it's actually Glidden's Fennel. I painted Serengeti Plain in the laundry room of our last house. Sigh...I miss that laundry room. It's a great color. Fennel is a bit more muted- definitely lighter and maybe a smidge grayer.



Keep the yellow countertops!!! Can you imagine? They got hauled off two weeks ago when the first dumpster was taken out of here.

Martine...I think I'm ever so close to convincing him on the backsplash. Everyone comments on how cool it is and how great it'll look in the space so I think he's on board - have to order it tomorrow to make sure that it gets here in time. Oh! and good news...they won't actually be here to tape until the 29th so I get one more week - whoopee! Do you think I could lose 40 pounds by then...LOL

Laurie...when I become big and famous I'll expect everyone to walk 10 paces behind me and refer to me as "Superstar!" (must be said with breathless awe and jazz hands) but I promise I won't defect anywhere

Hey, my daughter did that to me when she was roughly 13 to 15 years old. If I walked in the mall with her, she walked ahead!! But, she wasn't too good when it came time for me to pay. I think now that she's older, she's seeing just how "snooty" she was.
