I'd go with the 17" tall one.

I feel very needy today. One more (may not be the last) opinion needed...

I'm deciding between these two colors of monorail kitsfor over the peninsula counter in the kitchen. Both of these come with white shades also. I'm merely trying to pickbetween the brushed nickel and sable bronze patina.

It all depends on the other choices you make. With the floors, cabinets, counters, etc., either would work. If you go with the sconces above, then I'd go with the bronze.

I really like the bronze track light with the amber glass, but I don't want anything to compete with the swirly kitchen sconces. See, I told you I wasn't good at this! FWIW, the other track system that will be highlighting the art in the family room will be brushed nickel with clear heads. But I don't know if that matters. AARRGGHH!

I second the vote on the bronze! Everything looks great Heather! Can't wait to see it all done.

Ps - I went to college on the Eastern Shore and have a few good friends in your area!

UGH! I just talked to my mom and she thinks the brushed nickel with white shades would work better because of my appliances and cabinet pulls.

Dana- I met my husband on the eastern shore!! He went to Salisbury Stateand we both worked at WBOC-TV 16. Small, small world.

I'd go with the taller, thinner sconce for the plasma TV area, and I think the peninsula lighting should match the metal in the kitchen, but I can't remember if it is nickel or bronze.

I agree with Eva, and I'll raise you the Amber shades. White? Nah...

If the other track system will be brushed nickel, and that is the metal color in your kitchen, then I'd go with that.

I'm not sure I'd mix metals on the ceiling either.
