They're called either Grippa or Grabba. They changed the name, and I can't remember which one is current.
If if makes you feel any better, I've heard that those aren't so easy to grippa or grabba. Yours looks beautiful!

I have a big bag of those Grippa handles that I never used. You're definitely right - I couldn't open some of the doors in the kitchen display that used those handles.
Really lovely, and you place just looks so modern and European. I love the handles you used and would like to know the size you chose. I see they come in two sizes and I'm trying to figure out if I should use the longer ones on cabs and the shorter on drawers. But on the larger drawers for pots and pans, should I go with a longer one? Some people seem to mix the sizes depending on the drawer size. Are they very sturdy handles? they look good online.
We are very happy with the LANSA handles. They're extremely sturdy and really feel good in the hand. They give such a nice big area to grab when opening a door/drawer, which is really nice.
We used the short ones on all the cabinets and all the small drawers. The only place that we used the long handles was on the 36" wide drawers on the island, and on the buffet doors.
Ikea now sells a little template for drilling the holes for the handles (named FIXA), which is great for drilling the holes for the small handles. Unfortunately, it isn't big enough for the longer ones, so that required a little creativity with cardboard!
Aw thanks, serena! Someone actually just pm'ed me about the fan, so I'm going to cut and paste what i wrote to him:
The fan is made by Ellington (http://www.ellingtonfans.com), but we bought ours from blindsbladesandbulbs.com, which had a great price. It was $50 when we got it, but it seems that the price on their website has gone up to $62.50. However, if your room has ceilings less than 10 feet, be prepared to do some surgery on the fan. The pole on the fan is pretty long, and I guess i kind of missed that when i ordered, because on our 8 foot ceilings, the fan would have taken off our heads! My dad helped me out and cut down the pole, but it took quite a bit of time to figure it out.
Also, the fan comes with a big control box switch thing (probably about 3" by 6", and 3" deep)- very ugly! We didn't want to mount that on the wall (and we got two fans, so it would have meant two of the big boxes on the wall), so i had to buy different switches - which added about $30 to the cost of the fan.
Despite all that, we're really really happy with them. But just so you know - they ended up being a lot more work than we counted on! I hope that helps!
I'm catching up on progress blogs this morning, looking for inspiration. I don't know how I've missed this one! Congrats, it's beautiful! I'm a new Hallarum fan... Love the buffet wall, and the island, and all that space in between.
Well, I needed to add my WOW to the chorus.
enjoy it
(as I'm sure you are!)
