That fixture is about 5 years old and we got it from Sears, but I'm pretty sure they don't sell it anymore. One of the contractors mentioned that they thought a chrome fixture would match better, but we are kind of partial to that light so we are going to keep it anyway!

-Microwave cabinet was custom built beneath a standard 24" upper cabinet. The bottom shelf is a dishwasher panel, with an extra cover panel used to form the open shelving beside it.

Mandy, I love your backsplash tile and the color on your wall looks really nice with the Adel MB. Great job!!

On the long wall I have:
12" w + 30" stove + dishwasher side panel + 24" dishwasher + 24" sink cabinet + 15" w (12 7/8" deep) 4 drawer unit + 12" open shelves (also 12 7/8" deep). The last two cabinet were shallow because of a beam up the wall that could not be removed because it was a former exterior wall. The upper cabinets are of equal widths, but the one on top of the 12 7/8" deep units was cut down to 5" deep and is used as a medicine type cabinet. Then into the breakfast nook area there are 2 x 24" w cabinets that are also 12 7/8" deep.

On the fridge wall there is a 36" w upper cabinet, and a 21"w lower and upper cabinet.

On the microwave side, there is a 30" lower cabinet. On top is a 30"w by 24" high upper cabinet. The microwave cabinet was custom built underneath.

All the tall upper cabinets are 39" high.

Do you have trouble reaching to top drawer of the cabinet drawer....they look high. I plan to use the same ones but my wife is not to thrill about the height.

Yes, they are too high to reach. We have a step stool in the kitchen at all times to help the kids reach the sink to wash their hands, so I just use that. And, of course, I only put things on the top shelf that I don't use often. To me, that was a better alternative than having open air at the top. I needed all the extra storage I could get. I thought the overall look was very clean. Some people say this design makes the ceiling appear lower, but I have found the opposite to be true.

Gorgeous!!! I love your kitchen!! The dome knobs are what we already chose for our wet bar/kitchenette.. Yours were the first I have seen with dome knobs and we are glad to see what the cabinets look like with the dome knobs. So now we are happy we already bought them, and dont have to return them back.
