Your kitchen looks great! And incredibly clean and tidy :shock:How on earth did you managethat? Ours was a complete mess all through the installation process, with screws, tools and instruction leaflets all over the place, not to mention the sawdust that was covering everything...
I'm a bit of a neat freak because the 2 dogs that inhabit our house have a way of tracking a little dust into every room there is. Plus our house is small and junk makes it feel smaller... it's been that mess though many days.

Our garage is a completely different matter!

Brodysmom, Martine, Jenn, Susan and Laurie - Thank you! I really can't wait to cook in it (hopefully tomorrow) I think using the DW and oven will make it "real". And DH loves it which is cool - he wanted a beige/light granite for a long time so I'm happy that he's happy with our choice and doesn't feel like he just gave in to the dark that I wanted.

First meal... DH want's scallops (his favorite) and I want chicken cordon bleu... I really want to test out the stove and DW well since we have 2 weeks left on the 4 week warranty from Sears and have yet to use them!

So, recipes:

Baked Stuffed Mushrooms with Crabas an appetizer/lunch probably

Chicken Cordon Blue (for me)

Parmesan Crusted Broiled Scallops (for him)

Baked Potatoes

Pan Roasted Broccolione of my absolute favorites, he even likes it

Peaches and Cream Pie (the first and only time I've made this was on our second date at a family friend's picnic)

We have champagne from our wedding as well...

Maybe you guys should come with all the food I'm cooking! It's definitely not healthy but I'm restarting Weight Watchers to make up for the last 3 months without a kitchen on Monday!

I call dibs on the stuffed mushroom leftovers! Actually, I have to forward that recipe to DS, 'cause she's a real fiend for 'em.

Oh my!! Champagne from your wedding? You must be YOUNG. It'll be 20 years for us this year.

Will this roasted broccoli make me like broccoli? I don't particulary like it. I do eat it, but only if it's crisp tender. And dh only likes it when it's soft.......yuk! Makes me gag thinking about it.

I always welcome new recipes -- you get so tired of the same ole' standby!!

You MUST try the roasted broccoli - DH doesn't like broccoli and he likes this. The stems are the best- I could eat the whole pan of it!

And we're not young, but wegot married a little over a year ago (I'm 30, he's 35)

My ILs live in Westport WA and crab almost all year. We have a ton of crab in the freezer and I need to use it up! I haven't tried them yet but they look SO good!
