Does anyone know if I can put one billy morebo door for two benno cd towers?
I'm in a hiding-it-all mood, and I was wondering if I can do that!

I have also thought about this before and at least in theory I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work.

My only caution is that the sides of the Benno are too thin to hold the hinge plate screws and support the weight of the door. Other than that, you're dealing with the same dimension, so go for it.

I've just registered so I couldn't see you message earlier... my post may be late by now. Fitting a door to two Benno CD towers is OK! I've seen it with my own eyes in the IKEA store I usually go to. Don't forget to fix the shelves to the wall!

The link to the page on IKEAhacker should help. Someone there was able to do it. He had what looked like a 15" billy cabinet plus 1/2 size and a benno and he attached the standard billy door to the benno.

It's not exactly two bennos, but if you look at the picture, it seems pretty clear that one billy door will fit across two benno.

The Ikea website has this in the mouseover display for Billy/Benno online and states that 1 door can cover two Benno units. Go to the main page for Billy and scroll across the top where they have the picture display of different combinations - click onthe "+" symbol and it will give you the info about the item. HTH!
