I'm trying to get my hands on a Noresund bed, king size, and no stores seem to have them in. They are not available online and I was able to get one Ikea representative on the phone tell me she thinks the bed is discontinued. I know there is one left in BC but I'm in Ontario and they won't send it to a store that I can pick up at, or to me for that matter.

Is there anywhere that I can track down one of these beds that may or may not be discontinued? Any help or tips would be very much appreciated.

NORESUND *is* discontinued, but not until early 2009. It looks as though there's a supply issue right now, and that's why you're not able to track one down. I don't currently have any info about what the issue is, and/or when it will be solved, but it doesn't look good through the end of August.

If you post again in a couple weeks, I can check on it again!

Thank you very much for the information. We have been trying to get one of these beds for months now and can never seem to find one.

I will check into it every few weeks to see if there is any further news.

If there is anything at all that is found out I would appreciate anything you send through.
