I know most of the people on this board are in the States, so I hope someone might be willing to help me with my slightly odd request....
I have just finished installing the cabinets for my new kitchen. Im installing a deep belfast style sink which required modifying a cabinet to make it 45cm high (by 60cm wide).
In the UK they dont sell a door of 60 x 45 - but in the states they sell one which is 24" by 18" - which is pretty much perfect.
Now - I am coming to the states in August for a holiday, and was hoping to pick one of these doors up in Adel white from the East Palo Alto store. However, I have just checked the stock and they dont have any there, and to be honest they dont seem to have any in quite a few IKEA stores.
I have emailed Ikea US customer services to find out if theres any way i can ensure a door is in the store when Im in Cali - but Im not holding my breath.....I also dont seem to be able to order to the UK via the Ikea US website.
If all my efforts to get hold of one of these doors - is there any kind person on this board who might be willing to get hold of a door for me and ship it to the UK? I would obviously cover all costs......
