Looking for advice re: defective lamp issue
We bought the Stockholm floor lamp last November, and almost immediately had problems with it; i.e. intermittently turning off, having to rotate the upper part to turn on, etc. Since we purchased it in Chicago, and we are in Kansas City, we just put up with it. Finally this weekend, we took the lamp apart and found that the bulb base is cracked in two, and only remains together due to the wiring running through it.
Of course, I can't find my receipt, although I could track down the credit card receipt. Do I have a chance at getting the part replaced? If so, is it something they'll do via mail? I'm willing to pay for the part, if needed. The lamp cost $119, so I'm not ready to give up on it yet. Thanks for any advice!
