So we made the trip to Atlanta store Sunday. 6.5 hours in car, uhaul, 2 small kids, wall-to-wall people, but we survived.

Anyway, there were a few things on our list we either forgot, gave up on, or were out of stock. We thought we would try out online ordering just to see how outrageous shipping would be. Surprisingly, it was not-$26 for some pretty bulky items.

But when I try to order I get this message:
"One or more products are currently out of stock. Please revise your order."
With NO indication of which product it was....what am I supposed to do with that? Take things out one at time and do a trial checkout? Could the online ordering system be experiencing problems?

This just happenned to me, and is the most most insipid thing I've ever seen shopping on the Internet. They just need to turn over their Internet fulfillment to someone competent who can handle it, like Amazon. If they can't do something this basic, I worry about their technological capability to keep my credit card info secure.

Well, I tried the brute force method and got lucky. The first thing I tried to take out was the one that was out of stock, apparently.

I hadn't thought about whether they were secure, but it is painfully obvious they don't really want to be in the online ordering business. I think the in-store frenzy aspect is part of their business plan.
