I won't be ready for my kitchen cabinets for another 6 weeks or so, but because prices are going up on Sunday by as much as 20% on a lot of items, I decided to try to get the whole order in now.
I spoke to someone at Ikea Direct this morning and he told me that they could probably delay the order by 5 weeks which is great for me. The problem is, I was taking my time with all my modifications (since I wasn't ready to place the order yet) and now I am afraid I will find myself rushing through the ordering process, and making lots of mistakes.
From your experience what is the best way to deal with these modifications when ordering remotely? I got the Ikean's email address and I sent him my complete kitchen list including a description of the mods that I am planning to do. He said he would call me back later today to discuss my order, but I am afraid that he may not understand everything I am trying to do.
Would it help to post my order here? I am a little overwhelmed right now...
Here's my order so far in case anyone has time to review it. I am really only concerned about the items with Modifications (items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 21--highlighted in BOLD below), hopefully the Ikean will get the standard items right.

First, how'd you do that table in the "code" box? That's cool.
I'm not sure it will help but I'll look and ask questions. But just because I don't understand it doesn't mean it's not correct, and I didn't check any article numbers.
2) Is the drawer partition needed to install the LV unit? I didn't know that.
3) may want to specify height of drawerfront and drawerbox, shallow or deep? Doesn't the oven need a shelf to sit on?
4) May want to specify "shallow" 30" drawerfront. That 30" will be a false front, right? Do you need the hardware to attach the false front? Don't know if that is sold separately. Why do you need the Rationell deep interior drawerfronts? I thought the drawers would be attached to the 15x24 Linjar doors.
5) Again, why do you need the Rationell deep interior drawerfronts? And in this case, why 15"? I think you'll need 2 drawer partitions, one for the top drawers and one for the bottom pullouts.
6) what's the extra article number for?
9) I belive the hinges for the wall corner cabinet come with the door.
11) is that a "horizontal" cabinet that opens upwards? If so, you don't want the 130 degree hinges.
12) do the Avsikt glass doors use the same kind of hinges as the regular doors?
13) This is a pullout so the 64"H door will be attached to 2 deep drawers and the 24" door will be on hinges? So why do you need the Rationell deep interior drawerfronts? ( I must be missing something here)
18) Suspension rail is 79 3/8" long and the 2007 Kitchens catalog says $6 ea. You should be able to figure how many you need.
The bathroom cabinet parts are not listed as specifically as the others. You may want to list out the parts for your own information and so you can check the order after they write it up. If you decide to get a cheap door while waiting for the NBB, may I suggest the Arlig Medium Brown?

Honestly I am not sure, but I thought I needed something for the other side of the door to rest on when closed.

It seems no one knows anything about the IKEA 24" oven or the cabinet to put this oven yet. I am sure these shelves are offered for the 30" cabinets today, my question is whether I can get those separately to use them on a 24" cabinet.

Good question. I was going by this post by torrus, apparently there is mouting hardware that comes with this item that I will need to make this work.

Honestly, I have no idea. I basically went to see the item on IKEA.com, chose Linjar Blue and 12", and then clicked on package measurements at the bottom. That gave me the article numbers and quantities for all the pieces, but it's very likely that the website is wrong!

I agree, I just didn't have the time to do it yet, I spent so much time on the kitchen, and was hoping to spend a few more weeks planning it, and now I have to do it all in two days!

Great suggestion, I was going to go with Arlig White, but Arlig beech effect (I think that's what you meant) is just a couple of dollars more and closer to the look I am going for.

Great! I think my biggest problem is that being so far away from the nearest IKEA I do all my shopping on their website, and, well, their website kinda sucks sometimes! There is no mention of Arlig Medium Brown anywhere, so if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't even know it existed! Thank you so much.

I read the sink modification thread and according to pollyq all you need from the interior drawerfront pkg is the template and the plugs for the hinge holes. Who says you can't put pull-outs under a sink?!
Since you have so many, the frugal part of me says you don't need more than one template and there's probably a pdf here somewhere to use. And I know I've read here about people making their own plugs. I think Dulci said she had a bunch she could mail to someone. pull-out base question... is a thread about the screws used for the pull-out. To tell the truth, I can't follow or figure out which screws are supposed to be used or which package they come in.
Maybe it's safer to just order the interior drawerfronts anyway. When you get to the point of putting these together, maybe you can post about what is really needed.

I wonder if it might be better, for the cabinets with no modifications, to just go by the cabinet codes and let the Ikean enter whatever is standard. I don't trust the website.

For the template, there is a link from jenb to a .jpg in this thread: missing template? for 12" pantry base.... It measures from the edge of the door and the same template is used for the 12" and the 15" pullout.
When someone buys a regular deep drawer to go on a regular drawerfront, they don't need to buy the interior drawerfront just to get the screws. I'm convinced pollyq is right and you just need the template and the hinge hole plugs.

You are just AWESOME. You are responding faster and with more info than I can even keep up with! I think you're right, I won't order the extra drawer fronts, since I already have several that I actually need to the template will be included in them. Buying a drawer front for a few screws doesn't make a lot of sense.
Update on the ordering process. I had initially talked to one Ikean yesterday and emailed my order to him yesterday morning. Apparently he is really busy today so he passed the order to another Ikean and she callled me to let me know that she will be working on my order.
I just hope we can get everything done by tomorrow...
