This costs $1800 from Kraftmaid, but I like how it looks on the inside compared to the IKEA solution. I'm hoping I could figure out how to modify an IKEA cabinet so I could do something just as nice for a whole lot less. I noticed it over a week ago in This Old House, and it is now online. I've seen the pegboard solution here, but I really like each part that this offers, and also the metal pegboard.

Has anyone seen this in person? Does anyone know where I could buy substitute parts to replicate this?

I've seen similiar pegboard and attachments at Home Depot? Walmart? Lowes? One of those places...

I've seen it in person and it is totally cool- it's got a step-stool, broom, etc. If you wanted to, you could build a little platform and put in bins for the cleaning supplies...

And pay your mortgage!

FWIW, these actually are designed to save space, albeit in one's pocket, as there'd be no money left afterwards.

This cabinet is from their Venecia line, which is frameless and uses the same Blum hardware as IKEA. It may be possible to purchase the guts of teh is cabinet separately and put it in a tall pantry.
