| Adding an extra door to wall cabinet
I'm trying to take a 36" wall cabinet and mount 3 12" doors on it. Leftmost door will effectively be a cover panel as it will have shelving butting up to if from an adjoining wall (I mounted it using the regular hinges). Right door is normal.
So, issue is what to mount center door to?
My thought so far is to just use a chunk of 2x2 at the top and bottom to mount the hingest to (or a full vertical strip from top to bottom if not stong enough, but then I'd have to notch all the shelves). I'd just screw though the top and bottom to hold the 2x2 in place, and I could also secure to the left door if needed (since it doesn't need to move).
Any other ideas or experience? I'm guessing the hardest part will just be to get everything to line up right.
