How in the world do you mount the drawer on the 49" blind cabinet? As far as I can see, there is no side in the middle to attach it to. I have really searched and found nothing on this topic. Clearly I am missing something major here. Please, please help!

You need an Akurum drawer divider for the 49" cabinet - it runs front to back in order to attach the drawer runner. These should be in stock at your local IKEA (Art.# 200.489.30 in white).
