Hi. We are 90% done with our cabinet install and have ended up with 6 extra inches between a base cabinet and the wall. I've seen a few pics with this mysterious wine rack that I havent seen at IKEA before. Is this something that is no longer available? Or built custom? Does anyone know? Thanks.

i know the one you're probably talking about. the pic is vertical and above a fridge, i'm pretty sure it's adel mb, right?
that was made out of cover panel was never an ikea thing....just a modification

Sure, here it is. Hmm. If not this wine rack, what else can one do with an extra six inches of space? Seems like a waste to just cover it up...

I've done stuff like that before. It's pretty easy to do if you halfway good with a table or circular saw.

If you have enough good edge available from a 3x8 panel, use that if you can - it's thicker than a cover panel (3/4" vs. 5/8"). If not, a cover panel will work also.
