Alas, the way the corners are joined with a tongue/groove at a 45, it will be quite difficult to get one taken apart, recut, and glued back together in a manner that would at the minimum look "good".

Re: Anyone know of a successful kalsebo door cut down?
There was a post once about taking apart an Adel MB door and cutting it down. I tried to find it but could not. I must have the wrong search terms in mind! Maybe someone else can help with that.
The idea was to knock out the framing very gently, then cut down the center panel and put it all back together. I don't know if that would work with Kaselbo, but perhaps you could try?

That's just it ... the construction of the Adel wood doors allows such to be possible, but I really can't see it working with Kalsebo ...

So i think i am going to do something like this:
1) drill down at a 45 degree angle, trying to drill out the tongue in the door so it can be split open easier by breaking the glue bonds, then regluing later
or
2) using a very fine saw blade, the finest i can find, to saw very carefully down the miter and rejoin with some detail biscuits.
If i make such intrusion on the bottom, or the top of the door, as appropriate for normal viewing angle, the repair may not even be visible.
