Staining the Lillberg Sofa?
My husband and I just bought the Lillberg Sofa. We got it for its simplicity and clean lines, however the light birch really clashes against all of the natural dark wood in the rest of our home. Has anyone ever stained the frame of one of the sofas? Thank You!

I've not stained the LILLBERG specifically, but I caution you against trying to stain something that has been lacquered... it will take a *lot* of work to evenly sand and remove the existing finish, and if you don't get it all, the stain will turn out streaky/patchy...

If you really hate the birch, a better option may be to paint it?
