You might be able to stack 18" base cabinets and get almost the right height, if you're okay with a mix of doors heights instead of the one big door. If you cut down the 24" x 64" high cabinet door, you might run into a problem with the door styles that aren't completely plain fronts.

Reason: strange typo
I think someone once worked out that the easiest thing to do is to buy an 18" base frame (so you get a top and bottom of the right width) and a 15" pantry frame (for the sides of the right height), plus whichever combination of drawers, shelves, and doors in 18" width you prefer. Does this sound right, Dulci? Torrus?

You would actually need two 18" base units in order to have solid top and bottom pieces...but yes, this would be the best way to create an 18" x 88" pantry. If the doors are a slab style you can cut them down to 18" wide and still maintain the hinge placement.
