I would like to install dual, built-in microwave ovens in the above-counter wall cabinets. But, I'm confused, none of the built-ins will fit in Ikea's too-narrow "microwave" cabinet. Smaller, countertop-style microwaves would fit, but I would be left with no "built-in" bezel kinda parts to finish the gaps. So, without any other option in mind, I'm thinking to just toss a couple of small countertop microwave units in the empty bottom of a standard wall cabinet, with the second microwave simply sitting on its rubber feet, resting on top of the other microwave. Any suggestions?

Well, I just saw the other microwave thread where they talk about "over-the-counter" microwave ovens. Never even knew about these things. I guess, I'll just put two of these things in side-by-side? Unless someone has any better suggestions for models with built-in kits that somehow mount in an Ikea something-cabinet. Thanks again.

You might be able to use two of the 15" or 18" high wall cabinets, along with these trim kits:

But an OTC or OTR micro would work fine. Be advised that they will probably mount to the wall on a bracket and only be secured to the bottom of the cabinet for stability, not hanging strength. A built in would need support from the cabinet bottom.
