I have a 36" Whitehaus fireclay farm sink that I want to install in a 36" Akurum sink base. (I ordered the Domsjo sink base, but they sent me home with the regular sink base. And frankly, I'm just too beat with a zillion trips to IKEA to exchange it, so I'd like to make this one work.)
I'm going to need some kind of support underneath the sink, but I'm just not sure the best way to go about this.
(I think I've asked this question before too, but I can't seem to find it. Maybe it was over on THS. I don't know. Kinda running out of steam here.)
Anyway, has anyone installed an undermount farm sink? Can you give me some instructions or tips? I'd really like to see a photo. Even a photo of the underside/inside of the cabinet and supports from a modified rangetop cabinet would do.
FWIW, if it's not already out there somewhere, I plan to photograph and takenotes of our install so that it may be added (ifSusan wants it) to the FAQs.
Thanks!
