Question Will this hacked Lack TV unit be strong enough?
My husband and I just got through remodeling our living room and now are in need of a TV stand for our old projection TV.

I like the Lack TV unit, and love how this guy hacked it. I think it would work well with our style, but I'm worried if it will be strong enough to support our TV? I know it says it can support 143lbs, but I've had bad luck with Ikea things not supporting as much as they say they do.

TV specs:
Dimensions: 30 3/8" x 28" x 22 1/2" (WxHxD)
Weight: 111 lbs. (Plus the weight of various audio/visual components.)

I'd also like to know the actual height of the shelves where the visual/audio components would go to make sure our stuff is going to fit in there.

(Or if you have any other suggestions for a TV unit, I'd love to hear them. Our style is mid century modern, and I'm trying to keep the cost low since eventually we will replace that TV and go with a newer model.)
