nice!!

Ilove the vertical tile layout. Very mod but fresh.

So what do you think about the hinges on these cabinets? do they droop when you've got them open halfway? the ones in the store wouldn't stay up and would droop half way down.

Nice work, Cory.

You continue to amaze. I'm assuming you did the tile work also?

yup, thanks. i got the tiles custom from susan jablon , not too bad on the $ considering she built all the sheets after we picked out the color patterns... very happy with the product, they're veeerrry nice tiles. i couldn't find olors like these, much less in 1x3, anywhere. the boxes i basically wrapped in shelf paper before i assembled them. it helps to make the edges hold better and gave it a cleaner look. one thing, it took me a looonng time to find the right paper. i'm not sure i'd even consider this stuff shelf paper, it is excellent quality. after ordering lots af samples, i got the stuff from berlin wallpaper online. those cabinets were so in my face i was really getting bummed out about the white, so i actually un-assembled the boxes, and redid them in birch!

somewhere in another thread we mentioned the correct drilling/screwing measurementsto get them to be about level at full extension, it worked out very well. if you want them even lower, i saw some at ikea where they installed the part that goes on the box (the small clip)in reverse, or pointing toward the wall, this dropped the door to about 85 deg when fully extended. they had done this on about half of the horizontal cabs they had (whether on accident or not, it worked well)

Do tell!

What is the product name/model number and maybe even a URL? I definitely want to get some for my 2 horizontal cabs!

Thanks!

So...you wrapped them and then used something to poke through for all the pre-existing holes? Did you just use an exacto blade or something like that? Looks great!
