Has anyone used Cabinetmart's edge banding? They have a polyester edge band in solid colors and simulated wood grain finishes:

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this, and if they had a color match for Adel Medium Brown. It seems like this would be simpler than staining wood veneer edge banding.

That brand looks very much like what I used on my cabinet boxes. I have Nexus black-brown and I used Edgemate brand edgebanding, but it didn't have a wood grain, I simply chose the solid black. The other reason I used that brand was because I was able to take a door into the local Rockler store and see it up against the banding for color matching.

Can you get samples? The 5178 looks like it might match the Adel med brown. It's a lot more expensive than the Edgemate, but it looks very nice.

Oh, and yes, using the iron-on edging is very easy! I just put it over the existing melamine edging.
