Hi - I'm considering buying IKEA cabinets over Kraftmaid. IKEA, but one thing is holding me back. I don't like that when you open the cabinets, you can see all the little holes down the sides of the cabinet frames. This just screams unfinished to me, and looks cheap.
Has anyone used any modifications to cover up these holes once installing the shelves at the desired height? I know that would take out any adjustability on the shelving, but wondered if that had been done by anyone before.

Thanks for the ideas of spackle or wood filler. Does this still work if we do the birch interior?

We are using 3/16" locking, white plastic cabinet plugs for the white cabinets. You can get them in white from Home Depot. You can get them in white, black, or wood from widegetco.com (we haven't ordered from widgetco so can't vouch for them). It took us a while to source these so

I'm trying to do the same but for the Besta line. Took me an hour to find this thread on the web to even get the hole size of 3mm so thank you... Now for the hard part. I've been searching the web for an hour trying to find 3mm white plugs to no avail... PLEASE HELP!
