Fixing Chips / Nicks in the cabinet

Let me start by apologizing if this question has already been answered. I have searched at length for an answer and can see posts relating to paint matches on doors etc, but not for cabinets themselves.

During assembly I have made a couple of mistakes like screwing brackets / hinges in the wrong holes, Nails coming through the back of the wall corner cabinet etc, and as a result need to do some touch up inside of the cabinets.

I wouldn't mind too much except some of the cabinets have either glass doors or are open at the front.

I am using the white cabinets with Stat doors. I know that Benjamin Moore Simply White is the match for the STAT part however the cabinets seem to be more of a creamy color.

So my first question is what is the match for the white cabinet?

Secondly, If anyone has any tips on how best to touch up chips in the cabinet I'd appreciate that as well. I have bought some professional wood filler and plan to just fill and sand then use whatever touch-up paint is recommended.

Thanks

Ken

Ken, you are far more thorough than I am, I simply used white caulking inside my cabinets--if I used anything!

Along these same lines, how about touch-up for Adel Medium Brown? I was wondering if those wax crayons would work?

I have some miters that could use a dab to make me feel better.

Just wondering if the wax crayon worked. I have a couple of nicks that I could fill in.

We have successfully used the pencil from Minwax that is suited to match "Ipswitch pine." It blends REALLY well for Adel MB.

For the inside of the white cabinets, use oil-based Rustoleum Flat White.

I've been blogged!
Re: Fixing Chips / Nicks in the cabinet

"White-out" works for minor chips and dings.
