I suspect that this can't be done since I need room for the middle partition, but wanted to ask if two 12 inch pullouts could be made in a 24 inch sink base a la Polly Q's sink base modification

Scrappy,
Yep, it's actually entirely possible. You'd just follow the directions just like Pollyq's. The space that the partition takes up will actually make it all fit perfectly.

Just be aware that the 12" deep drawers are only available in the combination set (
Rationell
12" drawers)...which means you also get two shallow 12" drawers and drawer fronts.
Rationell definition
Rationell is a line of kitchen products that enhance the basic AKURUM/FAKTUM lines, including the Blum-made drawer boxes.
I realized that 12 inches is mighty narrow! I know I saw a double door pullout modification around here somewhere, but can't find it anymore. Does anyone know where it might be lurking?
Do you think that I could use the middle triangular piece that comes for the false drawer fronts to join the two doors? We have one left over. Another alternative is returning the two 12 inch doors and getting 24 inch wide one, which apparently is available.

I just did a pullout for a 30" sink cabinet and I am really happy I did it. One note, I had pipes in the way of one of the bottom pullout drawers. The pipe ran right through the middle in the metal part in the back. The pipe came in about 2" into the space I needed for the drawer. I dremeled the back metal piece. I took out a retangular piece. So when I close the door the pipe goes through the back of the drawer. Works perfectly and only took me about 10 min with the dremel.
I love the creativity and determinism around here! I'd love to see pictures of your mod and I'm certain it could be helpful for others as well. Any chance you could take a few pictures and upload them to the
