My 24 x 88 micro conundrum

I think I have an easy solution to my micro/pantry problem. I can move the shelf that the microwave is on down one notch and then order a 24" door for above and then it will be lower. Then it would line up with the 15" pantry door next to it. The bottom of the shelf will be behind the 39" door. I think this will work, what do you think?

I've been blogged!
Re: My 24 x 88 micro conundrum

From 3,000 miles away, it looks like it will work. It looks so close that people might marvel at you "custom" cabinet and trim. Of course, when it doesn't work, I'll just quote my plumber, "you can't see it from my house."

I assume there's enough clearance for the nuke door so it won't be clashing with the cabinet doors. That would be my only concern.

Thanks Chuck,
We will find out tomorrow morning. We will move the shelf lower and I will report back, too tired tonight.

Re: My 24 x 88 micro conundrum

Thanks Eva,
We didn't get a chance to move the shelf yet. We used MicroTrim on our previous kitchen and it worked really well. I did plan to use it once we figured out where the micro is going to end up. We are even thinking about replacing this micro with a new one... It's never ending.
