We are just about to demolish our bathroom but our local IKEA has very little on display in the bathroom area, due apparently to a new catalog coming out soon. Anyone know how soon the catalog will be out, and will there be more bathrooms??
Another vote for that if you can use kitchen cabinets, use 'em. More flexibility, more variety, better quality, better hardware, and prolly even better prices.
The Ikea website will show you the bathroom products that are available. They don't have a heck of a lot of specifically "bathroom" cabinets, but thinking outside the box and using the kitchen cabinets, or other pieces of furniture can work very well. I converted the Bjursta sideboard for my new vanity.

lucrezia, that is one of the nicest vanity solutions i've seen! it's really beautiful. are you having any issues with water on the vanity's surface? i'm thinking of doing something along these lines but have thought of using a marble slab to top off the vanity (since i didn't use marble in the kitchen...i'm looking elsewhere!). it was inspiring to see your photo - thanks! devon
There is no separate "Bathroom" forum...mostly because everyone who's redone a bathroom has used kitchen cabinets
LOL
