I just bought the aspelund wardrobe and I wanted to add another clothes rail and possibly drawers. Does anyone know if the komplement system for the Pax system would work in my wardrobe?

Rosien - I've not seen the interior of the Aspelund wardrobe - is it a wide open space with holes along each side for shelf pegs? Or does it have a vertical wood piece on the inside to make separate sections?

I do have some Komplement drawers and a Pax frame sitting in my garage (don't ask...suffice it to say...I'm not good at imagining what something will look like even when measured out precisely - thank God, I'm not an architect) and the Komplement drawers will need to be mounted to two sides. I believe that the Komplement drawers come in two widths - 39-3/8" and 19-5/8" so if you don't have that, I'm not sura that it would work without some additional modifications.

I should think, though, that adding another clothes rail wouldn't be a problem but you're going to run into the same widths. Perhaps you could just go to your local big box and get a curtain rail that would work.

There's a new Pax width of 29 1/2" and some of the Komplement fittings come in that size. Poking around the website, I also saw an adjustable clothes rail (18.5" - 30 3/8") that might work for you if there are any interior partitions in the Aspelund.: IKEA | Wardrobes | PAX/KOMPLEMENT system | KOMPLEMENT
