Hi all,

So we bought a wall full of Besta/Holmbo cabinetry for our living room and we have slowly been assembling it. Today we put in the Besta/Enon TV cabinet and realized it does not allow for doors!!

So, being the seasoned ikea warriors that we are, we decided to just go ahead and drill the holes for 2 holmbo doors ... except that it doesn't seem to proportionately be able to accept them. They overlap in the middle and even when fully adjusted cannot close.

Any ideas??? Before I take another 1hr trip to Ikea I thought I'd ask -- we considered the railings, but that would mean we couldn't have doors on either side of the TV cabinet... or should we go to Lowes/Home Depot and get some big-a** hinges??

I don't know the answer to your question, but I am going to move your post over to Modifications to get some other comments.

I have seen the tracks for Besta that the doors run on, kind of like sliding closet doors...would that work for you?

Candace - I don't have a solution but I'll be interested in hearing one if you find one.

I am considering a BESTA wall and planned to use the sliding doors with the rail ...but now I'm wondering if that will work with the Enon Tv unit .
