New Version of IKEAFANS is on the way! And we need your best "Shot"!

We need your *very* best IKEA related photos, and here's the exciting reason why:

IKEAFANS 4.0!

I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to make this announcement

.

It's almost ready, and we're planning on rolling it out in the next few weeks. If humanly possible we want to have it online in time for the IKEA 2009 Catalog launch, and we're currently on track to achieve that goal.

The new site has a lot more ability to showcase good photography, and we're looking for some real jaw droppers. Here's your chance to really show off your best "Wow" pictures of your IKEA related projects!

Kitchen Installs
Libraries (Balcobrary!)
Professional Installs
Bedrooms
Offices/Business
DIY projects
Modifications and Hacks
Anything else IKEA related that you really like!

If you'd like to upload them to the Gallery (or it's already there!) that's great, just drop in a thumb. If you want to attach them in this thread that's fine too. If you're having problems uploading or attaching the file and want to email it, just send it to webmaster@ikeafans.com and I'll get it uploaded for you.

We've spent a lot of time and effort on this new version of the site, but IKEAFANS is all about the community, so we'd really like to showcase the awesome talent and creativity of the IKEAFANS members in this initial release to the public at large.

Thanks as always for all the goodwill and fantastic support that you have all provided to us and each other over the last few years, especially the tireless Moderators and Mentors that make this place the friendliest, most helpful community on the web.

Stay tuned for further announcements about the *major* improvements in the new system as we get closer to final release.

So excited for you - here are two shots of the kitchen I did in the fall - They are nothing too fancy but Adel white galley kitchen.

Too bad mine is still in progress!!!

You're welcome to whatever photos of mine you'd like. Dog knows I have enough IKEA stuff in my house to host the entire catalog shoot. I think they'd only have to bring like four things.

mine aren't dramatic beauty shots either .. but you're more than welcome to use any photos of my kitchen (designed by Eva) ... and bathroom ... which probably would not have happened without the advice and information that's available at IKEAFANS - if it did happen it certainly wouldn't have turned out as nice as I did ... I needed LOTS of design advice !!!

Here are some recent pictures of my kitchen in Abstrakt White with Liljestad panels separated by aluminum stock between them to break up the cut marks from using 4 panels with the grain in a vertical position. This past week I painted the kitchen walls (again) I seem to always have some sort of project going on. What is next is white subway tile behind the faucet. But for now I thought these might look good in the new format to come....yippee!!!
