IKEAFANS attends 2009 IKEA Catalog Launch

The IKEA 2009 Catalog Launch event at IKEA Brooklyn last night was awesome! Great peeps, great products, great presentation. And very pink. We had a blast!

As promised, here's a sneak peek! The 2009 IKEA Catalog Preview as well as the special 'for press only' 2009 Press Highlights package!

I didn't know the Solar Beech would have such a beautiful grain to it. Pretty!

Re: TIDAHOLM black-brown
Unfortunately, TIDAHOLM black-brown is not pictured in the 2009 catalog... all the catalog photos are taken in a studio in Sweden, and since the TIDAHOLM is exclusively for the North American market -- there are no photos. Not sure if it'll appear in the Kitchen Catalog, but as of right now the only way to see it is in the store!

I was so hoping IKEA would realize their mistake and bring back the PAX hamper pullout.
