Just beautiful! You did a fantastic job. Your whole project was so well organized and documented too! Thanks for including us in the process and helping so many others along the way.

I'm glad the kitchen turned out the way it did. It really looks great! For a small space, this doesn't look one bit small. You've cleverly used every single inch of space wherever possible.
Like, Gloria said, it's well documented and will be useful to others (me included) in future remodels.
Congratulations, this is a great kitchen, I like it a lot! I wanted to use Blue cabinets myself, but it would be too much for my suburban house. In a city, I would pick them in a heartbeat., and I am still considering them for my laundry. The only thing which runs against my taste is the microwave with exhaust, I prefer a separate hood. After using your kitchen for a while, do you still like so many glass cabinets, with their demand of pretty contents? What do you have on the top of the fridge? A drawer with a shelf on the top?
Man, $300 for a Miele... And I thought I was lucky to get a higher end GE Profile for 550
Congratulations! I've been waiting patiently to see your finished photos! It looks stunning: very clean, sleek, modern. I love it! (My demo started yesterday. I'm looking forward to mine looking half as clean, sleek or modern...)
I love your kitchen--Linjar Blue ROCKS! It gives those of us who adore it some additional inspiration--there just aren't that many in the Linjar Blue (or Abstrakt Red for that matter).
I just ordered my Linjar Blue cabinets last week and waiting anxiously to hear regarding the shipping date.
I love how you went lighter but with complimenting colors on the mosaics, and the light countertop as well. I would do white Silestone if my budget would allow, but it ain't happening (sigh). I'm doing Numerar Oak with mine, and most likely a frosted glass backsplash or stainless steel.
I also like how your glass cabinetry on that one wall gives the impression of a window. The frosted glass Avsikt cabinetry looks phenomenal with the Linjar Blue.
I like it a lot!!! Good job!
MiamiBeach, this is fantastic! I remember when you first came around asking questions - I can't believe it's done! What a beautiful job you've done. Congrats! I'd love to post this over as an article - mind?

Yeah, I know it's not ideal, but there was absolutely no way to vent to the outside (that little window leads to an interior hallway), and I also felt that there was no room for a built in microwave anywhere else. I thought a microwave on the counter would have gone against the clean look of the rest of the kitchen.

Not really, I am actually not doing anything special in the photo. I am keeping the messier/more colorful items in the cabinets with solid doors (on the left side). I think the frosted glass covers enough, and maybe the Dioder color lights (red in all the photos) distracts away from the contents?

They're all drawers. Basically, I didn't have enough space on top of my fridge for a 24" tall cabinet (you can see the 24" doors to the right are just 1-2" too tall for my fridge). I could have gone for a 15" cabinet but it would have wasted too much space. So I put 4 drawers there (2x6" and 2x15") to use up all the space. Details are here. They're ok for storing things that aren't used a whole lot, and they let me access the whole depth of the cabinet, which is a problem with the normal over the fridge cabinet.

Thanks for the explanation! Drawers over the fridge is an excellent mod. Looks like your ceilings are not quite 8'. I tried to achieve the same look on 8' ceiling and had to add a drawer under a 88" pantry. 24" cabinet went over the fridge. To close the gap above, I even lifted the fridge by 3/4" with a plywood under it.
