Smile My new Yellow Brown kitchen in my first house!
I live in a relatively small town and wanted a home that reflects my personality and realized Home Depot and Menards weren't going to cut it.

So I flew to IKEA of Minneapolis and drove back with a BUDGET truck with an entire kitchen and 3 weeks later it's done! Credit to family and friends for all the hard work they put in.

Cabinets are Nexus yellow/brown. Flooring is carbonized bamboo. Entrance is black/white marble.

Cool space! I can relate to wanting something different... my house is very different (on the inside) that what is the norm where I live. When we moved in the whole house was very traditional inside and out with lots of fussy built-ins and years of built-up paint on the original pine cabinets. I knew I wanted to be here long term so I decided to do things my style, which is modern.
So kudos to you for updating it your way. BTW, the artwork is very cool especially in the kitchen. Its important that your space be your own, so to speak. Kitchen looks really nice.

As a former Wyomingite, I remember episodes of long-distance shopping to the metropolis of Billings, home of the Big Sky Scraper.

That near-instant kitchen really turned a modest house into a Swedish home.
