That looks fantastic! It looks like it came right out of a fancy "shelter" magazine (in a good way - not a cookie cutter way ) Love the lighting, counters and the Adel brown - great work!

Gosh that's a huge kitchen. It really does look straight out of a magazine. Great photograph.

We started with a kitchen half the size. It used to have a half wall where the refidgerator sat that divided the kitchen from another room. My husband is a photographer so we put some kitchen cabinets (that my sister was getting rid of) in the other room to store his equipment. It looked a real mess. Our kitchen had painted cabinets and spray painted handles. When we moved in 4 years ago the floor had chocolate brown 8" tiles, the back splash was harvest gold and browm octogons and we had harvest gold appliances. We paintd the cabinets to brighten it up and replaced the back splash and appliances and lived with it for the next 4 years. The change actually came about because of a pipe leak that ruined our bottom cabinets so we decided to "go for it". My husband is English so we lived in England for 4 years and we both loved Ikea. We live in southern Florida now so we've done this all through phone order and help from my sister who lives close to the Atlanta Ikea and checked out the different cabinets for us.

Our countertops are New Venitian Gold granite from Costco. We used Xenon undercabinet lighting and 4 inch celing cans. Our pendants are from Lowes.

That's amazing what you did, and I love the shelf for your MW. Nice job with the refrigerator. What size is it? Did you get the panels from IKEA as well?

Thanks! The microwave is very user friendly. We still would like to cover the front of the shelf where you can see the birch color, just haven't figured that out yet. The fridge is 36 inches. We got everything from Ikea except our lights from Lowes and countertop from Costco. We have plans to put a wine rack in the gap between the fridge and the upper cabinet.
