ikea-idea - Welcome to the forums! We do actually have an "In the Kitchen" forum where you can talk about waffles all you like! I have several waffle munchers around here...in fact, my 5 year old gets all starry-eyed imagining a "Waffle World" where everyone ate all waffles, all the time. Come share your brother's secret recipe!

Well...I got a number of tips from this forum and wanted to return the favor...feel free to shift the pics or mods whereever is most helpful on the site.
Well, we are too, at least we are now. When we were in the middle of it we were definitely having secong thoughts. We had just enough of the old material to finish it and a few boards were rougher looking than I would have liked, but it turned out fine.
How in the world did I miss this?:shock: DIY, you've done a terrific job and I absolutely love the exposed brick in the kitchen. It makes it extremely unique and beautiful. I also like the way you framed in the dishwasher; looks sharp!!
