I am planning a birch kitchen too but dont want those legs showing. how do the panels that cover them look?

Hi whispering, and welcome to IKEAFANS!

DIY used the 6" Capita legs which are supposed to show. There are also the 4.5" Akurum legs which are black and are meant to be covered with plinth/toekick (clips onto the legs). Here's an example:

DIY - we have the same cabs and granite!
I would love to see a picture of the front side of your island - the inner part of the U if you will. I am thinking of an island that shape in our new house, but am unsure of what cabs to use to accomplish the shape I want. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
