LOL Laurie... You sound just like me .. I thought I knew what door style I liked before I went to IKEA ... then I loved the kitchens so much - that I just kept going back and forth - back and forth. I'm still not 100% decided ... but am really leaning towards Adel birch
Vaughn: Definitely drag your husband there ... he cannot be playing golidlocks and the three bears - with nothing quite right ... I'm going to IKEA next weekend - it's about 2 1/2 hours away .. They have a Hallarum display there - I could take some photos for you - if that would be helpful...
Castilian Block Rambla - which is really much much lighter than shown on their site ...
and Porto Allegre Tuscany Canyon ... which I really like - it has much more variation than shown - both of these have random sized "stones" - and texture
Shaw also makes nice laminate that looks like slate - but they do not have the slate ones shown in their catalog- I've seen them at this site http://www.floorsonly.com/tek9.asp?p...ts&grp=904and others as well

I've just got off the phone with a friend - who is a flooring installer - I'm going to have him install my floors - he's going to come up and measure - and let me know how much material I need. Anyway - we spoke about these laminates that look like stone. He's recommending Armstrong, Pergo or WilsonArt - there was one other but I've forgot the name. He also had an opinion on the ones the look like stone - his feeling is the ones with large grout lines end up looking like linoleum when they've been installed - his preference is the ones with little to no grout line .. he said when the entire floor has been laid down - it looks like a mason has been in and fitted stones in. I'm off to look at Pergo and WilsonArt (in person...).

I don't know how to post multiple photos in one post, so here come the pictures! I think I have pictures of every complete kitchen display at the Woodbridge store.
Edited to add: Please excuse the quality of these pictures. It was difficult to get the kitchens in frame without taking pictures of strangers. (Especially in the case of Fagerland and Abstrakt - there was a couple in their thirties making out in the middle of the big aisle for about ten minutes. Ick.)
