Here a few pictures of my kitchen that is close to being finished. I'm thinking of changing the paint color because it looks a little dull to me. I also need ideas of what to do with the space I have between my sink cabinet and the end cabinet next to the refrigerator. Any suggestions?

Special1 - It looks great! I think that WOW! you're looking for is in a backsplash. It's a nice way to inject some of your personality into the room and drag in another color. It doesn't have to fancy or expensive, but often it adds that extra little bit that makes you take a second look.

/a 6" backsplash, how far up should I go w/a tile backsplash? Should I change my wall color or just paint my window trim a color darker than my walls? When I walk in the kitchen I just feel as if something is missing.

W is a wall cabinet designation, as in W18, can be a stand-in for Wide, or when followed by a / stands for With.
I think you should wait until you install the hardware, faucet and toekick. Then you can see what you want to do with the backsplash and wall color. It's a process!
