it was horrible when I bought the appartment... and not ikea, a problem for a ikeaholic like me
but now it´s finished and I did it almost by my self!
The tall

/akerum with al the cookbooks was originally 40 cm wide but i reduced it so it fits between the owen/microwawe and the wall.
And the small "Perfekt" cabinets with wineshelf and a singel drawer was really tricky to find, becuase Ikea don´t sell them anymore. Why, they are the best?? I found one second hand in the south of Sweden and the other one second hand in Stockholm. Puh!

Faktum is the European equivalent of Akurum; that is, the fitted, frameless, component kitchen cabinet line, which when paired with door and drawer fronts as well as interior accessories makes up the full kitchen cabinet system.
Nice kitchen! Very interesting idea to wrap the island with butcherblock. I see that done with quartz or stone pretty often, but I think this is the first time I've seen it in BB. I like the bookshelf, too.

I bought it on Ikea, i think the name was Gimån (Giman). But originally i didnt want it, because it was so expensive, approx. more then 300 USD! But I found it in the bargain corner for approx. 65 USD and then I couldnt resist it!
You did a beautiful job of designing and installing your new kitchen ... it looks very functional ... I'm glad you were able to track down the perfekt wine cabinets - they belong in your kitchen!
