I am still recooperating after seeing the prices for undermount sinks at Home Depot and Lowe's. Has anyone actually purchased their sink online? What kind of deals are out there?
Maybe I'm just being incredibly cheap - or naive - about the cost of a sink, but I'd like to at least find out if there are other options out there...
I purchased a single bowl, 30x17 -10" deep Blanco stainless steel under mount sink online from Costco. The same sink was at Home Depot for over $800. I paid $537 plus tax. I don't believe there was a shipping charge since it was over $250. We haven't got our granite counter tops in yet, but I have it sitting balancing on the counter where it will go and it looks really nice and a nice price too. There are lots of online places to get sinks. Just google the type of sink you are looking for and start comparing. You can go to the brand website to do your research first. Hope that helps. p.s. I think the big single bowls are more expensive than the double bowls.
I highly recommend Galaxy Tool Supply - www.galaxytoolsupply.com
(Although it looks like something's up with their website right now)
We bought our sink to fit a 36" cabinet for under $250. It was 16 gauge and came with the sink racks that I have grown to love.... I found them on Ebay which is another great source.

Re: How about sinks?
I second Stacy's Galaxy recommendation.
We bought our undermount single bowl stainless from them (a Blanco look-alike) and are still pleased a year later with the looks, durability, and functionality of the sink. Their prices are great and the whole buying experience was a dream. We actually found them through an eBay auction listing they had in the "Galaxy Tool Supply" store.
We just bought a stainless steel, undermount sink (18 gauge) for between $250-300 at Overstock.com. Worth taking a look...you can get similar selections and probably lots more on eBay, too.
We bought this 30” single bowl SS 16 gauge undermount for $259. I think they had free shipping too. It came quickly and looks Great! We are very pleased.
"How about sinks" indeed. Jeri, I'm so glad you mentioned Sienna Sinks. I thought I'd looked at every sink in creation (I spoke to a guy on the phone there and he said they are having a problem with their on-line visibility), but these look great. The 18/10 stainless and the 16 gauge are better than what we were looking at for Blancomagnum and half the price without compromising on things like whether the sides aren't straight enough (problem I had with Kindred) or the finish is too brushed (Elkay). I am trying so hard to control costs, which means controlling my brand fixations (which are partly attributable to snobbery, sadly). Just yesterday I managed to throw off the allure of Bertazzoni in favor of a KitchenAid range that I'm sure will be just fine and saved us a whopping $1100 with rebates and lower price combined.
I am on the point of jumping in and getting this sink (except that we don't need it till a month from now). Aaaugh! Can you post a photo? Is it installed?
CR has reviewed kitchen sinks. I don't think I'm allowed to quote them but I'll paraphrase. It made me feel better about having to choose a cheaper sink. Basically, they said gauge doesn't matter and thicker isn't superior. You should however look for sound dampening material on the outside. Also, they found that all stainless sinks performed similarly regardless of brand ($80 sink as good as $400). So look for price and style. I also recommend looking for depth, it reduces splashing. I got a 11" deep sink at cbsinks.com (Undermount stainless steel kitchen sinks).
