Forgive me if this has been posted before. My hubby and I just ordered our kitchen to be delivered. We live 90 miles from Ikea so the delivery charge was around 300.00 give or take.
When we paid for our order, we got our cash back coupon for using debit instead of credit. We then immediatly took the coupon over to the home delivery person and used it for our delivery charges. We only ended up paying 79.00 for delivery.
I suppose you could use it for something else, but if you have a big order like we did, and your paying cash, this helps take the bite out right on the spot. We have 210 boxes to be delivered.
I would guess it would be in all Ikea's. If you look at the bottom of your receipt, you will see the cash back coupon for using your debit card. There are signs up near the registers signifying this too. I believe the percentage was 3%
No I have not received it yet. They wanted to deliver it this coming Tues. but

not going to be here so I have to now wait till the 22nd. Apparently they only deliver over on the west coast a few times a month.
That's too bad, but at least you have a date. Since, they only deliver a few times a month (something they didn't tell me), maybe I'll get mine the same day as you. My estimate date is the 23rd & I'm in Plant City.

Maybe it's not available in Ca. I do know you have to use your debit card as a debit card.
IE
, you have to use your pin number. You can't use your debit card as a credit card. It won't activate the discount otherwise. The cash back coupon shows up at the bottom of your receipt.
Also ask a cashier at your local Ikea if they have it.
