Post Returns policy - greater than 45 days for kitchen stuff?

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and currently instaling some cabinets.

Of course, it has taken more than 45 days to actually get things assembled and installed and i find i have some items I would like to return since I do not need them.

Has anyone had luck returning components (not special order) after 45 days?

Thanks

Signe

This is one of those "luck of the draw" things. It really depends on the person standing at the returns desk. I've returned things well after the 45 days, but other people have had problems, IIRC .

On the other hand, I've also been lucky to have my receipts. Which for me is quite unusual.

Thanks.

I know which guy to find at the Atlanta returns desk - there is one there who is very sharp and I'm sure i could get him to take them back. It is actually only about a week past the date.

We just returned some items yesterday (after more than 45 days) at the Conshohocken PA store and they gave us store credit without any problem. The kitchen department also gave us a $25 gift certificate for bringing in a photo of our finished kitchen.

I also bought my cabinets at Ikea Conshy and was told the same thing about bringing in a picture and getting $25. They said the like to have pictures of real kitchens to show other customers. I don't know if all stores do this, but it's worth a try.
