. i found the site doing a google search and this thread looking for 30" wide billy brown-black shelving.
first, the brooklyn ikea (which is great, i went there with my girlfriend to get her stuff for her apt.) does not have the item in stock and has no expected restock date.
second, the website will not sell the shelves in this color, and the next closest ikeas are 11 and 27 miles away and would require a longer and costlier trip.
which brings me to the third issue - i'm on a severe budget due to recent job loss. but i am using the time to get my place in order and that means 6 extra shelves for this unit. i simply can't afford $12+NYStax for 6 shelves, but i've already got the unit so i need them to match.
i was basically hoping someone in NYC might be tossing their billy brown/black 31.5" wide bookcase and/or any extra shelves. or at the very least be willing to sell some shelves separately for less.
i hope this kind of request isn't a problem here. thanks for reading. please message me privately if you have ANY shelves you are willing to give or sell.
p.s. this is absolutely not an april fool joke, i'm serious.
