I picked up a whole bag of miscellaneous hardward in the As-Is room not long ago. I've sorted all the pieces and will get pictures at some point. If you're looking for a particular piece and don't live close enough to a store for a run-by, give a holler and I'll check to see if I've got what you're looking for.

Susan, I am missing the safety brackets in one of my base cabs. I believe that's what they're called - still looking for an image...they're the metal L-shaped pieces w /holes that fit over the holes pre-cut into the nailed-on backing, if that makes sense.

Anyway, my last box was missing them and I can't find them anywhere - I'll send you some Paypal or whatever you like for postage if you have 2 of these. Easier than reckoning w/Ikea Schaumburg , I'd wager ; ) Email me below, please, if you have any...

thanks!

tesla -- These L bracket thingies? I think I do, but I'll have to check to be sure. Two, you say?

Don't worry about Paypal, I work for good IKEA karma. I'll send you a private message if I have them, and you can send your personal information back by reply.

you sweet thing ~ yep, those are the ones I'm missing, plus the small squares that slip between nut and L-bracket to tighten the screw/fitting. I'm not sure what happened in my order....

I'll await your message - thanks so much!

Hmmm...I don't think I do, but I'll check! I'll send you a PM if I find I have any. How many do you need?

Worst case scenario, Rockler and Woodcraft both sell something similar. I think the size you need is 1 1/4"? Maybe not since IKEA is metric....

2 would be great if you do. I measured the hole at 1 3/8, so I bought a dowel in the closest sizeI could find, 1 1/4. I'll use that if noting else pans out, but I was hoping for a tighter fit. Thanks for checking!

The IKEA hinge "cups" are European standard 35mm (literally a hair more then 1 3/8"). Rockler has just what you need:

I'm positive I saw similar plugs at Lee Valley once, but can't find them on the website. HD, cabinet, or specialty woodworking stores might also have them.

Thanks Doug - I actually ordered these a few weeks ago and they worked like a charm. They were a bit shallower than the IKEA plugs, but we put a thin piece of cover panel under it to fill the gap, and no problems thusfar!

Hi, we're missing 8 of the metal squares and bolts that slip into the hanging rail. I'm blaming our 2 year old!! Got any of those in your magic bag?
