| Ikea Spotting - This Old House
Noticed this a couple weeks ago, but didn't get around to posting it... In the lastest issue of This Old House magazine, the "bachelor pad" kitchen is Adel Birch. Only one mention of Ikea - the Perfekt open shelf wall cabinet - but it is clearly Ikea through and through. I couldn't find the article online, so no link. Looks like the article might go live online once the November issue is out.
I found it interesting that the way they finished off the top of the cabs (plinth cut to fit the 2"+ gap between cab and ceiling) was what I decided against doing. I chose to leave the gap, but partially fill it with the deco strip as molding at the top.
