Why Ikea? Because it doesn't "look" like IKEA!

Last night we had a contractor in our home for a bid on an addition. When he walked into the kitchen/dining area his first words were

"Wow, who did your kitchen"

((very cool to be able to respond)) "We did it!"

The second question is of course

"Where did you get your cabinets"

"They're actually IKEA"

"Wow, Really?!? It doesn't look like IKEA"

And after DH got to show off some of the cool features and custom work he's done we got the final approval

"I'm going to have to go look at these sometime, they really look great"

Both of us beamed all night

Stacy you and Craig deserved to have beamed all night ... your kitchen is beautiful and very well thought out ... we'll win those contractors over one at a time ... IKEA kitchen cabinets are such a terrific value!

I know that your addition is going to be wonderful...
